North Kent Amateur Computer Club - November 2003 Newsletter

NKACC is 25 years old and now is the time to celebrate.

Our next meeting is on Thursday 13th. November 2003 in the Petts Wood Memorial Hall, Woodlands Way, Petts Wood, Orpington, Kent.

A map is available via our website

Doors open at 7:30p.m. for an 8:00p.m. start.

This meeting is one of our popular Open Evenings with the AGM towards the end, but this year it's extra special.

We will be celebrating our 25th Anniversary. There will be cake, coffee and tea, followed by a trip to the local pub afterwards. So come along and enjoy the evening with us.

Bring your machines if you can, but if you can't, there will be plenty of examples for you to play with or to demonstrate your problems on.

As an added bonus we will be publishing details of our exciting 2004 meeting programme!

We now also have details of our forthcoming Xmas Meal, which subtitutes for the club's December meeting.

This year we are going to The Royal Oak Beefeater, High Street, Green Street Green, Orpington, Kent on Thursday 11th. December - eating at 8:30. The cost will be 17.50 GBP/head, and the menu can be found at:

http://www.beefeaterpromotions.co.uk/christmas/pdfs/Celebration_BE0173.pdf

(if anybody has trouble reading this .pdf file, please contact me and I will arrange for a transcript to be sent to you.)

We do need to get a 5GBP/head deposit quickly from everbody going to the Xmas meal, so if you (and a partner) want to join us, please let me know as soon as possible.

Remember, all recipients of this newsletter, current members or not, are welcome to join us. A reply to this invitation would be greatly appreciated.

Hope to see you at the meeting, or hear from you soon about the Xmas meal.

Richard Nevill, Secretary, North Kent Amateur Computer Club.
