When and Where Do We Meet?

On the 2nd Thursday of each month, (except December - Christmas meal night), we meet in Orpington Baptist Church Hall, Orpington, Kent. A map is available! (opens in a new window)

We use the small meeting room to the left of the main entrance.

The meetings start at 8.00 pm with the doors opening at 7.30 PM The meetings wind-up around 10.00 PM, with us needing to be clear by 10.30 PM After meetings we tend to move to a local hostelry for a quick drink, and to continue chatting.

On the 4th Thursday of each month, we have a social gathering in the Daylight Inn, station square, Petts Wood; meeting around 8.30 PM. This is simply to have a chat and catch up with what everyone's been doing.

New members are warmly welcomed at either venue, we look forward to meeting you.

In order to cover expenses such as the hall, advertising etc. we do have an annual subscription charge. The pricing is as below:

• Annual Subscription (Adult): £15.00 (payable in November)

• Annual Subscription (Student/Unwaged): £7.50

• First meeting as a prospective member: FREE!

• We reserve the right to charge a per-meeting attendance fee of £2 per meeting (apart from the initial visit).

The subscription is now payable from November to November, with discounts if you join midway through the year. This is to make the renewal date consistent for everyone, and simplify the treasurer's life!
